As one of the leaders of the financial sectors in Poland, Bank is involved in key economic initiatives organized locally and abroad. The Bank’s involvement is based on both financial and strategic support. In 2024, we attended at the Impact’24 conference, the European Economic Congress and the Corporate and Investment Banking Congress. We were also involved in co-founding the 15th EPA Congress, as well as cooperation with the Chamber of Brokerage Houses and the Association of Polish Banks. Thew Bank’s area of interests also includes the subject of cyber-security, which has resulted in its support of such initiatives as Defense24 Days and Cyber24 Day.
In 2024, we continued to promote projects relating to Polish national traditions or cultural heritage. We cooperated with the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, the Jan Matejko Academy of Fin Arts in Kraków and the Museum of the Monument of History “Frombork – Cathedral Complex”.
What’s more, we donated 20 pieces form the Bank’s collection to the National Museum in Poznań. The donated artworks included paintings by such household names as Jan Matejko, Stanisław Wyspiański, Wojciech Kossak, Julian Fałat, Józef Mehoffer and Zygmunt Waliszewski.
In cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw several films about Polish artists and their life’s work were released: Franciszek Maśluszczak, Adam Myjak i Wojciech Kossak.
In September 2024, we took part in the Archive3 project, in which new technologies enabled professional scanning of several art pieces from the Bank’s collection (10 paintings by 7 artists). Subsequently, the works have become a part of the NFT collection (non-fungible tokens, stored in the blockchain network) and recorded on photosensitive film, which, appropriately secured, has been deposited at the World Arctic Archive. The guaranteed protection of such a deposit is a minimum of 1000 years.
