Ensuring compliance is integral to the conduct of the Bank’s business, is rooted in the values set forth in the Bank’s Charter of Principles, Code of Conduct and adopted Code of Banking Ethics, and underpins a culture of compliance.
The Code of Conduct addresses the most important issues that all Bank employees pay attention to in the course of their duties. The principles contained therein should be a guideline in the decision-making process. The Code gives guidance on how to deal with the many situations that employees face on a daily basis, but does not provide a solution for every circumstance.
If the answer to these questions is uncertain, the Code of Conduct instructs each employee to ask his or her supervisors or the compliance unit. The request for an opinion on compliance is available on the intranet website to all Bank employees.
In addition, regardless of the implementation of the cyclical reporting obligation on the implementation of the provisions of the Whistleblowing Policy in 2022, 24 cases were referred to the highest authorities.
